Process

Five phases between today and a clean exit.

Assess, analyze, improve, prepare and negotiate. Each phase has a window, defined deliverables and a review, so you always know where your exit readiness stands.

A Proven Process. A More Prepared Business.

01

Assess

A readiness assessment across all three legs: the business, your personal finances and your goals. We set a baseline valuation and define your target number and timeline.

02

Analyze

We recast your financials, measure transferable value and identify the value-killers a buyer would find, from owner dependence to customer concentration.

03

Improve

We run focused value-enhancement projects on the drivers that close your value gap, with quarterly reviews to track progress.

04

Prepare

A pre-diligence review and an organized data room, so your business can be presented clearly and examined without surprises.

05

Negotiate

When you choose your exit option, whether a third-party sale, management buyout or family succession, we can take the business to market and represent you through negotiation and closing.

The services are sequenced, not sold separately.

Valuation sets the baseline. Financial readiness makes the baseline defensible. Operations raise it. Buyer preparation packages it. Transition protects it through completion.

Discipline at every stage

Every engagement runs on defined milestones and named deliverables. Each stage produces verifiable documentation before the next phase begins, so progress is measured against the plan rather than against assumptions. Risk controls are reviewed throughout. Issues surfaced in Assess and Analyze are tracked into Improve and Prepare, which keeps accountability clear from the first conversation through transition.

Timing and circumstances differ from one owner to another. The method is designed to make the process understandable and the options explicit, without promising a particular valuation or result.
